Coastal transects Project, recently launched in May 2005, is a work package under the new EU-funded project , 'Integrating Multiple Demands on Coastal Zones with Emphasis' on Fisheries and Aquatic Ecosystems (INCOFISH; www.incofish.org).The overall goals of the work package are to provide a framework for the compilation and analysis of data relevant to the understanding of interactions, impacts and flows in the coastal zone
